1st PRIZE FOR COMPOSITION
FRANCISCO DE LACERDA
Francisco de Lacerda Association announces the first edition of the Francisco de Lacerda Composition Prize, with the aim of encouraging young Portuguese musical creation.
The Winner will receive a monetary prize of €7,500 and the premiere and recording of the piece at the closing of Encontros Sonoros Atlânticos 2022, in Lisbon.
The first edition of this competition is intended to reward works for orchestra and the winning work will be interpreted by the Orquestra Metropolitana de Lisboa.
